If you’re a fan of the University of Alabama’s football team, you might want to avoid Twitter for the next few days.

Last Friday, Crimson Tide fans received a rather cruel reminder of their team’sĀ heartbreaking loss to the Auburn Tigers in last season’s Iron Bowl when Auburn’s grounds crew recreated Chris Davis’ game-winning kick return with spray paint.

Over the weekend, Auburn fans used foodĀ as their latest medium to bring that magical game to life with an awesome Iron Bowl groom’s cake that recreated the scene at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The highlight of the cake, obviously, is the one second left on the cake’s stadium clock, which was the amount of time remaining last year when Davis hauled in a missed field goal from Crimson Tide kicker Adam Griffith and took it 109 yards for the amazing score.

Let’s just hope this beauty doesn’t suffer the same fate as previous sports-themed cakes.
