He might have been under the radar for the early part of his career, but after his historic performance this week, Lonnie Chisenhall will be remembered for a very long time.
The Cleveland Indians third baseman had a game to remember against the Texas Rangers on Monday, hitting three home runs to go along with a career-best nine RBIs. Chisenhall is just the fourth player in the last 100 years  to collect five hits, three homers and nine RBIs in a game, and the first to do it since Fred Lynn accomplished the feat with the Boston Red Sox in 1975.
Chisenhall was not the only one making a name for himself though, as New York Mets catcher Taylor Teagarden came through in his first game with the club. In just his third at-bat of the season, Teagarden drilled a grand slam to right field. The homer helped end a six-game losing streak for the Mets.
The rest of this week’s homers include Josh Willingham’s second-deck homer in Toronto, Jose Abreu’s bomb off of Justin Verlander and a walk-off shot from Chris Carter.
