After years of sitting on the sidelines, Buster Olney got in on the action Sunday night during the Los Angeles Angels-Atlanta Braves game at Turner Field.

The ESPN analyst has seen countless web gems in his day, but he pulled off one of his own as he snagged a foul ball off the bat of Jason Heyward during the sixth inning — while holding a notebook on his lap and chewing on a pen.

Olney played the barehanded grab so cool, certainly acting like he had been there before as he searched for “the shortest, smallest person I could find,” to give the souvenir to, according to Cut4.

But he did have some solid motivation for pulling off the catch cleanly.

“I had no problem with that,” Olney said when asked about it on the broadcast, “because I knew you’d play it if I messed it up.”
