Cue Tom Jones and start doing the Carlton Dance.
The State College Spikes, Class-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, had Alfonso Ribeiro, also known as Carlton Banks from the famous TV show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” throw out the first pitch during Sunday’s game against the Williamsport Crosscutters.[tweet https://twitter.com/psuPJ/statuses/483390661777817601 align=”center”]
State College, Penn., is a few thousand miles away from Bel-Air, but for one night, it was the freshest baseball town in America. Players on the Spikes wore “Fresh Prince” jerseys with the team’s logos stylized in graffiti.[tweet https://twitter.com/Cody_Schu12/statuses/483358942442295296 align=”center”]
Before the game, Carlton took pictures with fans and players before doing his famous dance on top of the dugout.
The Spikes used the Carlton Dance as a good luck charm and shut out the Crosscutters 5-0.
