The Boston Celtics struggled last season, but now they’re looking to the future.
The Celtics held a Saturday workout for three prospects — Michigan’s Glenn Robinson III, St. John’s JaKarr Sampson and UConn’s Niels Giffey — in preparation for next week’s NBA draft.
Robinson, the son of former No. 1 overall pick Glenn Robinson Jr., believed the three-player workout was a challenge, but he said it was rewarding getting to know the coaching staff a little bit better. Giffey felt similarly, saying it was a good way for the coaches to get to know the players on a personal level.
