Chris Paul just made the inner ’90s teenager in all of us extremely jealous by receiving an autographed photo from none other than Kelly Kapowski — Bayside High’s most popular girl and head cheerleader. Add that to the long list of perks of being an NBA superstar.
Tiffani Thiessen, who starred as Kapowski in the hit show “Saved By The Bell,” sent the photograph of her younger Kapowski self to the Los Angeles Clippers point guard for his 29th birthday. The gift came almost a month after CP3 turned 29, but it’s better late than never for Paul, who called it “one of the best Bday gifts” he’s ever received. Thiessen signed the photo and included a message, which read, “Chris, Happy Birthday my dear.”
Of course, an even more impressive gift would have been the famous life-sized Kapowski cardboard cutout that was in Kelly’s love interest Zack Morris’ room, but Zack probably wouldn’t have liked that very much.
