Dallas police likely gave the Denver Broncos a pretty big scare on Saturday.
On Saturday morning, Major Max Geron, who is charge of media relations at the Dallas police department, drew the attention of the NFL with some rather surprising news.

News of a player’s arrest is something no team wants to hear, especially when it involves Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib, who has had run-ins with the law in the past.
A few hours later, however, Geron sent out another tweet explaining that his initial report was incorrect, and that police had instead arrested Aqib’s brother, Yaqub.

The incident isn’t good for the Talib family either way, but at the very least the Broncos can breathe a sigh of a relief knowing that the player they just signed to a six-year, $57 million contract hasn’t found himself in trouble already.
