Coming face to face with the mascot version of yourself has to be a bizarre experience.

Eckersley seemed more perplexed by the experience than anything, but Orsillo was loving every minute of it.

The A’s went on to run away from the Boston Red Sox in a 4-2 win, with Dustin Pedroia’s sixth-inning home run providing the only offense for the visiting Sox.
