Fabian Johnson is ready for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Johnson performed well and scored a wonderful goal in the United States’ 2-1 win against Turkey on Sunday.

In the 26th minute, Johnson exchanged passes with Michael Bradley before finishing the flowing move with a perfectly struck half-volley.

The goal was Johnson’s first for the United States. The 26-year-old was born in Germany (to an American father and German-American mother) but chose to play for the United States in 2011.

The United States’ win against Turkey was its second victory (out of two games so far) in its three-game “Send-Off Series.” Team USA faces Nigeria on Saturday in its final exhibition game before the World Cup begins.
