It was only a matter of time before Cleveland’s new favorite son Johnny Manziel was asked to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Progressive Field, and Johnny Football will get the chance to do just that Wednesday before the Indians’ game against the Boston Red Sox.

But before the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback traded his football in for a baseball and glove, he showed Indians fans that the first pitch was fate by tweeting a photo of himself as a kid wearing an Indians Little League uniform.

This will actually be the third time Manziel has had the honors of throwing out a first pitch. Last season, he did threw one out at a Texas Rangers game, which went horribly, but he redeemed himself with an impressive pitch at a San Diego Padres game the next month.
