Major League Baseball is going all in on America, and it’s going to leave fans seeing stars on the Fourth of July.
MLB’s tradition of wearing red, white and blue on America’s biggest day will continue this season, as was evidenced by the release of the stars and stripes hats on Monday. On Tuesday, the MLB shop leaked the jerseys teams will wear on the Fourth of July, and boy, are they something else.
There will be no shortage of stars on the jerseys’ logos, as evidenced by the handful of designs that were leaked on the league’s shop.
UPDATE: A spokesperson for Major League Baseball has said the jerseys will be for retail only and won’t be worn on the field, according to SB Nation.
