In Game 3 of the 2002 NBA Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics entered the fourth quarter trailing the New Jersey Nets by 21 points.
The Celtics’ chances were all but hopeless, as no team in NBA history had ever come back from a deficit that large in the playoffs.
But the Green pulled off the impossible and outscored the Nets by 25 points in the final quarter to win 94-90 in front of an ecstatic FleetCenter crowd.
