AL East Race To Heat Up Heading Into Second Half Of Season

Before Monday’s game against the Chicago Cubs, the “Red Sox First Pitch” team discussed whether the New York Yankees will be a threat in the AL East in the second half.

Tim Wakefield doesn’t like the fact that the team has a negative run differential and Steve Lyons isn’t fond that they’re an older team.

Nick Cafardo, however, believes that the division will be tight heading into the second half of the season because of the Yankees’ and Orioles’ impressive lineups.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
