If you live on the West Coast, and you’ve always wanted a garden gnome of a former Boston Red Sox favorite, then you’re in luck.

Sunday is “Coco Crisp Garden Gnome Day” at O.co Coliseum for the Oakland A’s matchup against the Red Sox, and the first 20,000 fans at the stadium will receive a little statue in the outfielder’s likeness.

Not only is the gnome version of Crisp awesome, but it’s genius marketing on the part of the A’s. Crisp was on the Sox from 2006 through 2008 and is still very well-liked by fans, so the promotion should attract many members of Red Sox Nation living in the Bay Area.
