Red Sox Parade Baseball1For the second time this season, the Highland Street Foundation, Boston Red Sox and the City of Boston are working together to host “Out of the Park.” The free event will bring the feeling of a game at Fenway Park to fans at Franklin Park in Dorchester on Sunday.

The Red Sox are on the road facing the Oakland Athletics, but fans can still experience the game as if they were at Fenway. The game will be broadcast via NESN on a large screen and will feature live cut-ins from a Red Sox announcer.

But the game is only part of the experience, as fans will have the chance to enjoy classic ballpark food such as Kayem’s Fenway Franks, popcorn and Hood ice cream. There also will be balloon artists, face painters and some giveaways for fans in attendance.

Wally the Green Monster, Fenway Park DJ TJ Connelly and The Hot Tamales Brass Band will make appearances throughout the event. The game is set to start at 4:05 p.m. ET.
