Red Sox Make Few Mistakes, Earn ‘Clean Win’ Over Cleveland (Video)

The Boston Red Sox weren’t just in need of a win against the Cleveland Indians on Thursday night. They were in need of a really good win.

Boston’s 5-2 victory fit that description.

After a rough start against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, Jon Lester had a much better showing, giving up eight hits, one walk, one earned run and four strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings.

A slumping David Ortiz hit a two-run homer, and a Daniel Nava went 3-for-4. Overall, the team made few mistakes and looked more like the team who won the World Series last year.

Check out what Nava and David Ross had to say about the game in the video above.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
