Running back Marshawn Lynch has been absent during the Seattle Seahawks’ first week of organized team activities, giving some of the team’s under-the-radar backs a chance to shine.
Among those vying for playing time in the Seattle backfield is 2013 second-round draft pick Christine Michael, who showcased some nice elusiveness during 11-on-11s.
Michael obviously was pleased with his own performance — he was the one who posted the video to Instagram – but we’re going to pump the breaks on giving the young Texas A&M product too glowing of a review.
The initial change of direction certainly is impressive, as is his burst through the hole, but let’s take it easy on the post-run celebration. At least save that until the defense is able to put some pads on.
