A.J. PierzynskiStephen Drew’s oblique is not feeling any better, it appears, as he is out of the lineup against Tuesday in Baltimore.

The midseason pickup will have missed three of the last five games if he does not make it onto the field against the Orioles. He was labeled as day-to-day Monday, when Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell informed reporters of Drew’s absence.

With Drew out, Jonathan Herrera is back at shortstop, with Xander Bogaerts manning his usual position at third base. Daniel Nava, one of only two Red Sox batters to reach base twice against O’s pitcher Bud Norris on Monday night, is back in the lineup against right-hander Chris Tillman (5-2, 5.20 ERA). The Red Sox send Brandon Workman (0-0, 3.74) to the mound.
