By this time, most fans have seen the highlights from the United States’ 2-1 win over Ghana on Monday. This video recap from Taiwanese Animators, however, isn’t your normal highlight.
The video takes several shots at America’s lack of interest in soccer, featuring an ode to American football, some United States-Ghana foosball action and a hilarious depiction of what happened during the 81-minute scoreless stretch of the game that even features a “Game of Thrones” reference.
We’re not exactly sure what the motive behind this was, but the creativity displayed in this animation is unreal. See for yourself.
