The United States will be a little shorthanded Thursday afternoon when they take on Germany in a pivotal 2014 FIFA World Cup showdown. The Americans will be without Jozy Altidore again after he was injured in the team’s opener against Ghana.
With Team USA needing a win or a tie to slip into the knockout round, they could use a little help. That’s where Will Ferrell enters.
OK, so Ferrell actually won’t be playing against the Germans in rain-soaked Brazil, but he’ll be in attendance. He’s already in Brazil, and on Wednesday night, he crashed a U.S. Soccer rally, where he did Will Ferrell things while working the crowd into a frenzy.
Hopefully Ferrell leaves that bikini top at the hotel, though.
