There are very few things that showcase raw talent like an outfielder’s ability to throw a baseball. There’s a reason that it’s one of the most important tools on display at showcases and tryouts throughout the world.
It’s sometimes an overlooked tool, though. That is, of course, until someone unleashes an absolute laser, which is exactly what Oakland Athletics outfielder Yoenis Cespedes did on Tuesday night.
Cespedes displayed his incredible, 80-grade arm against the Los Angeles Angels when he basically threw out a base-runner from the warning track.
It certainly brings to mind some of the best outfield assists we’ve seen in recent years like these ones.
