The San Diego Padres will be trotting out a five-foot, 90-pound underhand pitcher before Sunday’sĀ game against the New York Mets.

In honor of her 105th birthday, Agnes McKnee will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, making her the oldest person to toss out the first pitch at Petco Park.

McKnee, who proved her sense of humor is as sharp as ever,Ā has been practicing for her big moment — in between games of bridge and bingo, of course. She will apparently be unleashing a pretty solid underhand pitch when she takes the mound on July 20.

ā€œI am very honored to do this, itā€™s exciting and I hope I can get through it,ā€ McKee told FOX5 San Diego. ā€œI was really glad I got up this morning, I was afraid I wouldnā€™t.ā€

McKnee has also been studying up on the Padres, learning some of the players’ names, despite not being the team’s No. 1 fan. Although she might be the team’s most awesomely honest fan.

“I haven’t been very into the Padres because they don’t ever win any games,” McKee said, via FOXSports.com.
