Tuesday likely will be marked by countless displays of American pride, as Team USA takes on Belgium in the Round of 16 at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Don’t try telling that to our friendly neighbors to the north.

July 1 also happens to be Canada Day, which means Americans won’t be the only ones in North America showing off their patriotic spirit, as Canadians celebrate the anniversary of their nation’s birth.

Among those showing their pride will be the Toronto Blue Jays, who will don their special red jerseys in Tuesday’s day game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Canada’s favorite baseball team will need all the help it can get against the Brewers, who own the National League’s best record and have won four of their last five games entering Tuesday’s contest.

Hey, if the Jays end up losing, at least they’ll look good doing it.
