Josh MurrayIt might take a while for Kansas City Chiefs fifth-round draft pick Aaron Murray to realize his dream of becoming a starting NFL quarterback.

His brother, on the other hand, realized his own dream on Monday’s season finale of “The Bachelorette.”

Josh Murray, the brother of the former Georgia Bulldog quarterback, won the dating reality show and is engaged to who he called “the woman of (his) dreams,” Andi Dorfman.

The former Milwaukee Brewers prospect hit 23 home runs in his six-year minor league career — which ended in 2007 —  but none of them were as dramatic as the words directed toward Dorfman in the finale.

“When I decided to give up my first love — baseball — all those years ago, a big reason why was because I knew there was a great love that existed somewhere,” Murray told her, via People.com. “You are the woman that I never thought existed in this world. I know deep down in my heart I am the only man who can make you smile the way you do.”

Dorfman didn’t make things easy for Murray, telling the nervous 29-year-old that she was “scared” from the first time she met him.

However, she eventually professed her love to him a few moments later.

Murray then got down on one knee and proposed to Dorfman with a beautiful Neil Lane ring.

The rest is history.
