Dwyane Wade has no hard feelings toward LeBron James.
James is leaving the Heat, but Wade said in a statement that the moments the “Big Three” had in Miami are special to him. Wade, James and Chris Bosh claimed two NBA titles and reached the Finals in all four years together.
Though they won’t be teammates next season, Wade said “his brother” was correct to return to Cleveland.
“We shared something unique, and he will always be part of my family,” Wade said in the statement, via ESPN. “LeBron made the right decision for himself and his family because home is where your heart is. I know this was not an easy decision to make, and I support him in returning to his roots.”
Wade can take solace in the fact that he will have Bosh back with him season. The Heat haven’t announced the deal, but Bosh made it known on his Twitter account.
