Twitter had a bit of fun Monday with Major League Soccer’s newest British import.
Frank Lampard, a longtime star for Chelsea FC and the English national team, signed a two-year contract last week to join the expansion New York City FC. The MLS club solicited fan questions for Lampard via its official Twitter account, but it failed to see the double meaning of the midfielder’s nickname.
