Fans Invited To Try On David Ortiz’s MVP Ring Saturday At Fenway Park

David Ortiz is giving fans the opportunity of a lifetime.

The Boston Red Sox slugger is allowing fans to try on his 2013 World Series MVP ring Saturday at Fenway Park.

The ring, which features nine rubies depicting the hanging Sox logo over a handset diamond surface, will be accompanied by the the 2004, 2007 and 2013 World Series rings, too. Fans can try on the MVP ring from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The three World Series trophies also will be on hand between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Those interested in attending may enter the ballpark through Gate E and are asked to purchase a raffle ticket on site to gain entry. Raffle tickets start at $10 with five chances to win. Proceeds will benefit the Red Sox Foundation.ortiz-ring1

The Red Sox Foundation’s World Series ring raffle gives fans a chance to win their own set of authentic World Series rings by purchasing tickets online at redsox.com/ringraffle and at the ballpark during games. The raffle will run until July 27, with a grand prize comprising the 2004, 2007, and 2013 World Series rings.

In addition to the first-place prize of three World Series championship rings, the second-place raffle winner will receive a pair of 2013 World Series rings, and the third-place winner will receive a single 2013 World Series ring.
