Daniel Bryan is used to taking guys down as a former WWE champion, but he had to do it for a worse reason this week.
The wrestler, whose real name is Bryan Danielson, was pulling up up to his Phoenix home with his wife around 7 p.m. on Thursday when they saw a door to the home opening. Two men exited the home and fled, but Danielson was on their tails.
Danielson caught up to one of the burglars and “was able to subdue” him before police arrived, according to a police report. The suspects dropped the items they had stolen upon fleeing.
Danielson, who described himself in a news conference as normally “very laid-back,” said that his first concern was for their French bulldog, Josie.
