Joel Embiid can chalk up his first NBA loss before he even steps onto the hardwood.

The Philadelphia 76ers rookie has spent his summer hopelessly trying to recruit LeBron James to the City of Brotherly Love, and it has been the best. The third overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft put his all into going after LeBron once he became a free agent, but their one-sided relationship hit a rough patch when Embiid blocked the star on Twitter for not responding to any of his tweets.

Now that LeBron has announced he will return to Cleveland, though, Embiid unleashed a flurry of hilarious tweets that expressed his disappointment in the decision. Embiid also managed to sneak in a pretty good shot at Drake, too.

A for effort, Mr. Embiid.
