Lots of people were unhappy Wednesday when the NFL announced Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice would be suspended for two games because of a February incident with his wife.

Rice was handed the ban for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly knocking out his wife.

For many, Rice’s suspension didn’t seem to fit the alleged crime, and a wave of outrage followed Wednesday’s announcement. Perhaps no one was more upset — or louder about being upset — than ESPN’s Keith Olbermann, who tore apart the NFL for its handling of the situation and attitude toward women during a segment on his nightly show “Olbermann.”
