NBA ballJust in case anyone forgets the NBA’s official Twitter handle, it will now be stamped on every official game ball, right there in black and orange.

Every ball used in an NBA game beginning in the 2014-15 season will feature “@NBA” stamped beneath the “Official Game Ball” wording, the league announced Thursday. The NBA, which blows away the other four major sports with 10.8 million followers, is the first professional sports league to include its Twitter handle on its game balls.

“The game is why we have 660 million (likes and followers), and our fans know @NBA is a must-follow for unprecedented access to our game, more insight into our teams, and unique behind-the-scenes content with our players throughout the entire year,” NBA senior vice president of digital media Melissa Rosenthal Brenner said in a statement. “The ball is the instantly recognizable symbol of our game, and now our fans have a place there, too, where they belong.”

This is the second time in six months the NBA is making a change to its official game game. A recreation of Adam Silver’s signature replaced David Stern’s after Silver was promoted to commissioner Feb. 1.
