Remy: Jackie Bradley Jr. Could Realistically Hit .265 By End Of Season (Video)

Jackie Bradley Jr. has convinced baseball fans all over the country that he has an elite arm. A viral video of him launching a baseball with his arm out of Fenway Park and 11 outfield assists on the year will do that.

However, his bat has taken awhile to heat up. At one point in the season, Bradley was hitting just .193 but he has raised that average to .231.

While Red Sox color analyst Jerry Remy admits that’s still not great, he did say that if the center fielder keeps tearing it up at the plate, he could potentially raise that average to .265 by the end of the season.

Bradley is hitting .375 over 12 games this month and the Red Sox hope that his hot streak continues so that they’ll find some offensive punch at the bottom of the lineup.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
