Bon JoviJon Bon Jovi reportedly has every intention to keep the Buffalo Bills right where they are.

After the rock star’s name was mentioned in a Toronto bid led by Larry Tanenbaum of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and the Rogers family, some Bills fans may have feared that the team would move north of the border.

However, Bon Jovi has no plans to move the team to Toronto if he buys the team, according to the Toronto Sun.

Even if the group wanted to move the team, the Bills are essentially locked in Buffalo until at least 2020 because of a strict non-relocation lease agreement that would result in a $400 million penalty should anyone move the team.

The Bills are up for sale after former owner Ralph Wilson died earlier this year. They’re expected to sell for near $1 billion.

Other potential bidders are Terry Pegula, current owner of the Buffalo Sabres, and Tom Golisano, the former owner of the hockey team.
