When he’s on the field, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is one of the most electric players in the NFL.

Unfortunately, he can’t seem to stay out of trouble off the field.

Gordon was arrested around 4 a.m. in North Carolina Saturday morning on a DWI charge, Raleigh police officer Robert Fiske told Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot.

The troubled receiver already faces a one-year suspension for testing positive for marijuana and violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.

In late May, Gordon found himself in trouble once again when he was caught speeding while the passenger in his car had marijuana in his possession.

Browns general manager Ray Farmer was made aware of Gordon’s arrest and released a statement to the media on Saturday.

“We are aware of the matter and are disappointed to learn of the situation,” Farmer said, via Cleveland.com. “We will comment further at the appropriate time.”

Gordon led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards last season. He has been booked for Saturday’s arrest and is currently being held in Wake County Detention Center in Raleigh, N.C.
