Andrew Wiggins The Cleveland Cavaliers just made the Kevin Love sweepstakes a lot more interesting.

Since LeBron James announced he would be returning to the Cavs, Cleveland has emerged as an increasingly realistic landing spot for Love. But Cleveland was unwilling to trade No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins to the Minnesota Timberwolves and talks had stalled between the two teams — but that might no longer be the case.

According to Bob Finnan of the Ohio News-Herald, citing a league source, the Cavaliers have relented, and they are now making the swingman available in trade talks for the Timberwolves star. Finnan reports that James has been the push behind Cleveland changing their stance on Wiggins.

James reportedly wants to play alongside Love, and if it takes giving up the former Kansas star, the Cavaliers might be willing to do so in a trade that would swap potential for the possibility to win now.

Although the Golden State Warriors have reportedly started talking about a trade once again with Minnesota, they have been unwilling to include shooting guard Klay Thompson in any package, which has prevented the Timberwolves from pursuing a deal further.
