There is no offseason for a young NBA player fighting for a job.

The Boston Celtics are stacked with players on non-guaranteed or rookie contracts, meaning all of them are expendable, and all of them realize it. That is why a group of them have been at the team’s training facility throughout the summer, not only working on their skills but also their strength, reflexes and flexibility.

Head strength and conditioning coach Bryan Doo has put Phil Pressey, Kelly Olynyk, Chris Johnson, Chris Babb and others through a grueling summer regimen that looks to both make them better players while also limiting their chance of injury.

The Celtics put together a video of an inside peek at the workouts, and it’s pretty cool.
