With football season right around the corner, fans across the country are flocking to pro shops to stock up on gear from their favorite teams.
Well, that’s the plan anyways.
One avid Buffalo Bills fan did the same Thursday night, electing to go with a blue mesh hat with a red Bills logo emblazoned on the front. When he returned home and got a better look, however, he noticed something odd.

Yup, that’s the New England Patriots’ logo on the back of a Bills hat. Unless this guy is a general fan of the AFC East, we’re guessing he’s not too happy with having the insignia of his favorite team’s division rival on the back of his hat.
The fan tweeted out a picture of his receipt for good measure, which confirms that he did indeed buy the hat at the Bills’ official team store.
On the bright side, if he decides to travel to Gillette Stadium on Dec. 28 when the Bills play the Patriots, he’ll fit right in.
