It doesn’t take much for Johnny Manziel to make headlines on or off the football field, and one of his decisions in Monday night’s preseason game against the Washington Redskins will draw plenty of attention.

Manziel was near the Redskins sideline after a play and likely was hearing trash talk from the Washington players. The former Heisman Trophy winner decided to make an obscene gesture toward the Redskins sideline, one that he probably regrets.

This won’t help Manziel prove to coaches, his teammates and Cleveland Browns fans that he’s ready to be a starting quarterback at the NFL level.

Don’t be surprised if the rookie quarterback receives a fine from the NFL for this.

johnnyThe Redskins got the last laugh, as they were able to eke out a 24-23 win over Manziel and the Browns. Washington linebacker Brian Orakpo also got his own taunt in on Johnny Football, as Orakpo mocked Manziel’s “money” celebration earlier in the game, too.
