Boston Celtics rookie point guard Marcus Smart looks like he’ll fit in just fine in Boston.

The Oklahoma State product has yet to step on the parquet floor at TD Garden, but he received a warm welcome to Boston in a recent trip to the city’s other hallowed sporting ground, Fenway Park. The Celtics’ first-round draft pick recently attended a game, where he threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

The Celtics documented Smart’s day leading up to the first pitch — a moment he shared with Patriots first-round draft pick Dominique Easley.

After plenty of anxiety and not wanting to “pull a 50 Cent,” Smart actually throws a pretty solid pitch. No word on if Red Sox manager John Farrell tried to convince Smart to get a couple of innings of work in, though.
