Fantasy Football 2014 Preview: Top 100 Overall Player Rankings
Let’s start with the disclaimer that the importance of each position will depend on your league’s scoring. If you’re in a PPR league, the value of quarterbacks and wide receivers obviously will shoot up. If you’re not, the running back still reigns supreme, and that’s evidenced by our overall rankings, which have five ball carriers atop the list.
The other positions are making a comeback, however. A wide receiver, a quarterback and even a tight end all appear in our top 10, a rarity in most fantasy leagues. For us, the difference between Calvin Johnson, Peyton Manning and Jimmy Graham and everyone else at their position was just too hard to ignore.
You might have the top 10 figured out, but drafts often are won and lost in the middle rounds, where a player’s value might wildly fluctuate. Luckily for you, we’ve compiled a list of the Top 100 fantasy players based on their 2014 projections.
