Ian Poulter Unhappy With British Airways After Nanny Gets Downgraded

Never mind that Ian Poulter has a Friday afternoon tee time at the PGA Championship, the last major of the golf season. He’s got more important things to worry about, like using Twitter to blast an airline.

The outspoken Poulter was in a tiff Friday morningĀ and took to Twitter to share his dire problems with the world (asĀ he’s been known to do in the past). This time around, his issues centered around an unfortunate airplane booking situation.

As you might expect, Poulter — who has made $1.5 million in winnings this season — took a some flak for his remarks. Many followers were quick to belittle the golfer for complaining about an everyday situation that “normal folks” have to deal with from time to time. After ranting a little bit more about the airline, Poulter decided to try to do some damage control.

The funny thing, as many on the Internet have pointed out, is that Poulter has done himself no favors with his choice of Twitter avatar. The English golfer looks even more out of touch when complaining about nanny injustices when his Twitter photo is just aĀ bunch of reallyĀ expensive cars parked outside his really expensive house.

poultsPoulter eventually decided it was time to focus on golf. He fired a first-round 68 and will be looking to make a push at a wet and sloppy Valhalla on Friday afternoon — assuming he can get over this grave wrongdoing.
