Ted Lasso is in the saddle again.
NBC Sports’ coverage of Premier League soccer is almost back, and to promote the new season, the network called on actor Jason Sudeikis to reprise his role as Ted Lasso. The network used the outspoken and brash character to promote last season’s coverage, too.
The premise was that Lasso was an American football coach hired to coach a Premier League soccer club. The result was a hilarious video. This time, however, Lasso is used as an NBC Sports Network analyst, and it’s just as good the second time around.
