It hasn’t taken long for the #IceBucketChallenge to go viral in the world of Boston sports.
Sports personalities from across the region dunked themselves with a bucket of icy water to show support for ALS awareness. The challenge, created by Boston College baseball players Pete Frates and Pat Quinn, who are battling ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease), proves that sometimes positive things actually can come from social media.
