Failed slides are always good to provide a little comic relief to baseball, whether it’s a slide that’s far too early or one right into another player’s butt.

One player in the Korea Baseball Organization provided a great example of the former.

Doosan Bears second baseman Choi Joo-hwan was on second base when his teammate smacked a double. Choi headed home with haste but got a little too eager and dove into the plate way too early, causing him to have to swim through the dirt to score the run.

The best part was, Choi was never in any danger of being thrown out, as the ball was thrown to third base.

And the end of the video proves that no matter where you are, your teammates will make fun of you for a slide that bad.
