Mark Teixeira and Brett Gardner were a match made in awkward heaven during the latest episode of  the New York Yankees first baseman’s fake talk show “Foul Territory.”

Teixeira debuted his web show earlier this summer, and it didn’t disappoint in the uncomfortable department. He was back at it again recently, making his teammate feel all sorts of weird as the two discussed a little bit about baseball and a whole lot about mixtapes.

Gardner, who must have skipped all of middle school, had no idea what a mixtape was, so Teixeira explained the concept of them beautifully. In fact, the only thing more wonderful than his explanation might have been the titles of his mixtapes — “Please Don’t Dump Me on My Birthday” and the always classic “Oh, I Wanna Be More Than Friends.”
