It’s been quite the week for highlight-reel catches.

Detroit Tigers rookie Ezequiel Carrera has been making the rounds on “SportsCenter” for his full-extension grab Monday night at Yankee Stadium, but a play a center fielder in the independent Can-Am League made last Thursday might have Carrera beat.

That’s Alonzo Harris, a former New York Mets minor leaguer currently playing for the New Jersey Jackals.

Harris, who broke into the minors as a second baseman in 2008, is getting it done with the bat, too. He ranks fourth on the Jackals in average (.273) and second in RBIs (34) after joining the team mid-season.
