Bryce Harper found a creative way to try and break out of his season-long slump.

The Washington Nationals outfielder has battled injuries and issues at the plate in his third season the big leagues. His .265 batting average and .735 OPS are not terrible numbers, but not where most people expected them to be at this point in his career.

Possibly in an effort to combat his problems, Harper started using an opponent’s bat, specifically that of Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig. Harper was spotted using Puig’s bat during Thursday night’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Maybe Harper got some magic out of the bat because he went 2-for-4 in the Nationals’ 1-0 win. Next thing you know, Harper will be bat-flipping with the best of them.
