EA Sports’ latest installment in its NHL video game franchise hits stores Sept. 9, and the wait might seem like an eternity after fans watch two new trailers that feature impressive gameplay footage.
Fans who play this game on a yearly basis will quickly notice a few major changes in the presentation. The game uses the “NHL on NBC” presentation, which includes the same NBC graphics found on television, a similar scoreboard at the top of the screen and commentary from play-by-play legend Doc Emrick and color analyst Eddie Olczyk.
The whole package gives each game a more TV-like feel, which combined with the graphical capabilities of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 makes “NHL 15” a visual masterpiece.
The “NHL 15” demo will be available for download Aug. 26. The demo will include two playable teams, the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings.
