FOXBORO, Mass. — Sealver Siliga is one step closer to returning to game action for the New England Patriots after suffering a wrist injury three weeks ago during training camp.
The Patriots defensive tackle was in full pads and taking part in conditioning drills during practice Monday. He wasn’t wearing a brace on his injured left wrist.
Offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer, linebacker Cameron Gordon and tight end Michael Hoomanawanui also returned to practice for the Patriots. Running back Brandon Bolden, who sat out of Friday night’s preseason game against the Carolina Panthers but didn’t miss practice last week, also was present.
Defensive tackle Ben Bass, defensive tackle Chris Jones, running back Tyler Gaffney and offensive tackle Chris Martin were absent for practice.
The Patriots, who currently have 83 players on their roster, must cut down to 75 by Tuesday.
