Providence Bruins Announce 2014-15 AHL Schedule

Providence BruinsThe Providence Bruins extended their AHL affiliation agreement with the Boston Bruins on Wednesday, and the team released its schedule for the 2014-15 regular season earlier in the day.

The P-Bruins will begin the 2014-15 season at home against the St. John’s Ice Caps on Friday, Oct. 10. It’s one of 38 regular-season games to be played at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence. The P-Bruins end the regular season at home against the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday, April 19.

The annual Black and Gold Scrimmage featuring players from the Bruins and P-Bruins will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21 in Providence.

The P-Bruins finished seventh in the Eastern Conference standings during the 2013-14 campaign with a record of 40-25-2. They were eliminated in the second round of the 2014 Calder Cup playoffs.
